چکیده

Millets are renowned for their climatic resilience and possess high nutritive value with wide genetic variations. In countries like India Africa, millets part of many people's regular diets rich sources protein, dietary fiber, polyphenols, minerals, vitamins, other nutrients. The proteomic signatures several millet species, including Fonio, Finger, Proso, Sorghum, Foxtail millet, were examined in this study. We have performed orthologous analysis to discover both common distinctive protein clusters among these species by using the OrthoFinder algorithm conjunction visualization tools. A total 16,247 shared all offering light on similar evolutionary or adaptation mechanisms. strong representation Gene Ontology (GO) categories related osmotic stress, water deprivation, temperature stresses research further highlighted millets' powerful adaptative responses various environmental difficulties. Intricate signaling mechanisms wound, defense, growth also revealed efficient photosynthetic capacities. However, each species' clusters, particularly those Finger how it differed from millets. links clarified a phylogenetic tree built Maximum likelihood approach JTT+CAT model, Proso showing closer kinship. sheds complex network millets, histories, potential adaptive processes. identification 2,277 which mainly foxtail, proso, fonio, sorghum support distinct history finger was especially important. These mechanisms, display different response demonstrate skill point prospective directions crop improvement techniques.

Mitochondrial Diversity and Phylogenetic Structure of Marghoz Goat Population

The genetic diversity and phylogenetic structure was analyzed in Marghoz goat population by mitochondrial DNA sequences. Phylogenetic analysis was carried out using hyper variable region 1 (968 bp) obtained form 40 animals. Marghoz goat proved to be extremely diverse (average haplotype diversity of 0.999) and the nucleotide diversity values 0.022. A total of 40 Marghoz goats were grouped into s...

Phylogenetic Networks, Trees, and Clusters

Phylogenetic networks model evolutionary histories in the presence of non-treelike events such as hybrid speciation and horizontal gene transfer. In spite of their widely acknowledged importance, very little is known about phylogenetic networks, which have so far been studied mostly for specific datasets. Even when the evolutionary history of a set of species is non-treelike, individual genes i...

New Genetic Insights into Pearl Millet Diversity As Revealed by Characterization of Early- and Late-Flowering Landraces from Senegal

Pearl millet (Pennisetum glaucum (L.) R. Br.) is a staple food and a drought-tolerant cereal well adapted to Sub-Saharan Africa agro-ecosystems. An important diversity of pearl millet landraces has been widely conserved by farmers and therefore could help copping with climate changes and contribute to future food security. Hence, characterizing its genetic diversity and population structure can...

Phylogenetic diversity within seconds.

We consider a (phylogenetic) tree with n labeled leaves, the taxa, and a length for each branch in the tree. For any subset of k taxa, the phylogenetic diversity is defined as the sum of the branch-lengths of the minimal subtree connecting the taxa in the subset. We introduce two time-efficient algorithms (greedy and pruning) to compute a subset of size k with maximal phylogenetic diversity in ...
